Cearc an Phrompa, written by Colmán Ó Raghallaigh, and illustrated by Annie West, was selected by a European jury to represent Ireland at an exhibition of books from each of the 27 countries of the EU which took place in 2008 at Bibliothèque Nationale de France in Paris.
